Help us BUILD a HOME for the underprivileged:
Recently, we have received news that the lease on our current rented premises for the Home in Bangalore will not be renewed and it is a matter of utmost concern. We will have to vacate our current premises by this year end, and the Home will be forced to relocate along with the children. The continual development in Bangalore resulting in the rise of rental rates has also posed another challenge for the Home. As such, we have decided that a long term solution has to be found for the sake of the children’s development and have identified an area in the outskirts of the city that we would like to acquire. Although land prices in Bangalore have been steadily rising, we realize that it is an opportune moment to take advantage of the potential cost-savings that Home could make in the long-run through such an acquisition. One of the most immediate and necessary needs is to build a three-story building that will separate the male from the female children, giving them more space and freedom. We are starting soon with the defining of concrete projects and need your help with this. People who want to help with their time and management abilities to transform this project can also do so. ![]() Raising the capitol funds for the Organization is difficult. We’re looking for donors who can make anywhere from $10,000, $ 40,000 to $50,000 or pledge more to get this HOME built. However, even a small amount can go a long way in funding our Nonprofit Charitable Organization. A person’s charity is not measured by the size of the donation, but rather by the genuineness of the intent. In order to partake in our Dream Home Project here is your opportunity to donate. You may kindly choose the sq. ft according to your ability
My contribution towards the Dream Home Project is ….
This is the Living Hope vision of what the new home and office space will look like when it is completed.
This building contains the reception area, office space, kitchen, dinning room, laundry and staff quarters. The first floor and second floor will be bedrooms for children. The rooms will share a balcony, so the children can all go outside for some fresh air especially in such a hot weather. The level below the first floor will have a large dining place for all the children. The lowest level will house the recreational and study area. This dream home can be house a total of 300 Children.
In the basement, we will have a small Clinic and the medical staff will attend to the needs of the children. This is also open to the public for the poor families of that area. There will be a very small charge for people not residing in the Home. This Childrens day, on 14th Nov' 11, by faith we had a ground breaking ceremony. With the help and support of COLOURS OF LIFE we intend to commence the construction of the Dream House.
